According to me the best way to eradicate the system is to educate the people and this facility should even be available for the poor people, as nowadays the poor people are not having access to education as they are suffering due to poverty. If the people over the world gets educated; they will understand the rights of each and every citizen of the country. Thus, if people cooperate we can eradicate the caste system form the society. Later it will be the children's responsibility to make their parents realize their mistake and treat others equally.

Actions of Mahatma Gandhi against caste system in the past?
In Indian history many people like Ambedkar, etc. have tried to make a change in the society and have even inspired many people like Mahatma Gandhi to go against the caste system and eradicate caste system and free the people who suffered due to the caste system.
Mahatma Gandhi took many actions to eradicate caste system as he lived with the dalits even though he was too rich and even wished to live in poverty as when he was in the jail his letters to his son clearly mention this. and even he sacrificed wearing all the blazers, etc. and believed in peace and simplicity. Not only this but he even started working in the Indian handicraft industries and started many of them for the lower caste people.

caste systems existence in Indian History?
In Indian history, Jatis were grouped by the Brahmins text under the four categories, known as Hinduism. those four categories were
1. Brahmins
2. Kshatriyas
3. Vaishyas
4. Shudras
In this categories certain groups were excluded like "Dalits" due to their occupations as they were the cleaners who cleaned other peoples house and helped them, later people started discriminating them as
"untouchables" due to thier work.
Later this led to the discrimination in other religions as the Hinduism religion strongly followed it other religions like Muslims, Buddhists, Christians and Sikhs even followed it.
